Operated with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems and provided with precise design instructions, CNC Lathes are machine tools where the material or part is clamped and rotated by the main spindle, while the cutting tool that work on the material, is mounted and moved in various axis.

CNC Lathes are normally used for machining parts, where the material / part is clamped and rotated whereas the cutting tool is stationery mounted for OD (Outer Diameter) and ID (Inner Diameter) operations, e.g. shafts and pipes. They are ideal for parts that have same symmetry around an axis that could be chucked up (i.e. radially clamped) in the spindle.

This segment mainly manufactures and sells CNC automatic lathes for the production of precision components. Thanks to an extensive lineup, including high value-added machines for complex machining and high-throughput units offering superior cost performance, this division can satisfy all its customers’ machining needs.

Taiwan Takisawa is specialised in manufacturing precision machine tools and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) drillers for domestic and international markets. In the machine tool line, there are small and medium CNC lathes and non­CNC high speed precision lathes. For PCB drillers, we provide 6-shaft and 7-shaft models. Taiwan Takisawa is also and OEM partner for all types of lathes that it builds for Japanese companies. Major customers for our CNC lathes are the bicycle, motorcycle and automobile industries, as well as parts processing plants supplying the aeronautic industry.
